Why is it called "online archive" in Outlook 2016 while it's called "personal archive" web mail?
Why do we have two different names for the same thing? The email archive is called "online archive" in Outlook 2013/2016 while the same thing is called "personal archive" in Outlook web mail.
This makes it confusing for end users that need to be familiar with both user interfaces.

I totally agree!
Yes, EAC Online and Outlook Online says In-Place Archive, while Outlook desktop says Online Archive. Then there is the "personal" Archive from Outlook desktop and Outlook Online.
I literally have a customer training session on this topic alone...
