Where to store Mobile Phone Extension OnPrem to sync to Office 365?
Dear all, Just a quick question I'm having from a customer: where to store Mobile Phone Extension in the OnPrem AD so it can be sync to Office 365? Tagging folks that I think could help here VasilMi...
If you add it to the phone number like this 123456789x123, it will get properly recognized as ext 123.

Vasil is correct the "x" make the magic !
- That's correct for the Office Phone but not for the mobile one...at least when I tested this morning It didn't allow me to change it in the Azure AD Portal
- Ok, using PowerShell did the trick...the UI does not admit to add an extension using "x" to the Mobile Phone field

When implemented properly by developers who really want to allow administrators to create the magic, of course.
