What happens to local user profile on Windows 10, when computer is disconnected from Azure AD?

What becomes of the user's Azure AD enabled login profile on a Windows 10 Professional system, when the computer is Disconnected from Azure AD?   Does the profile and everything in it, remain local to the machine and how would I be able to enable a new local login to access that profile?
