What happened to keyword searching in One Drive?
I used to be able to search by keyword inside documents stored on One Drive (signed into One Drive Live website). Now the search function only seems to find keywords in document titles - not within the document itself. Has anyone else had this issue? If this is broken or gone now it pretty much makes One Drive pointless for me.

Same issue. Is this a change in the product?

I have the same problem, its not normal havent this function in 21th century. I will cancel the subscription.
May related to below issues:
- Indexing Issues: The OneDrive search index may not have fully updated. Large libraries or recent uploads can sometimes delay indexing for searching within documents.
- File Formats: Make sure the files you're searching are in a compatible format (e.g., Word, PDF, Excel, etc.), as OneDrive needs readable text to index.
- Search Settings: Check if your search settings have changed. Using the search bar, try explicitly including file content searches with more specific keywords or phrases.
Possible Solutions:
- Force Reindexing: Try signing out and back in, or move a few documents to a different folder and back again to trigger reindexing.
- Clear Cache: If you’re using the OneDrive app on your device, clear its cache as it may impact search accuracy.
- Use Advanced Filters: On the web, use filters like "Modified Date" or "File Type" to help refine results and see if content-based search improves.

Sorry but tried all these and it still doesn't work. How do I get the response from Microsoft?
