Jul 22, 2020What happened to App Passwords?
Hello,
We have been using O365 in our workplace for quite some time. We have MFA enabled for security.
Before I was able to create MFA App Passwords by going to Office portal (https://portal.office.com) and clicking my initials/my picture on the top right section of screen. I would then select "My account", and I would enter the settings screen where I would find options Security & privacy -> Create and manage app passwords. This is seen in Image 1.
However, when I do the same procedure now (going to Office portal (https://portal.office.com) and clicking my initials/my picture on the top right section of screen. Select "My account") I end up in a different screen with different layout. This is seen in Image 2. I have gone through all the menus in this new layout, and there is no option to edit app passwords here.
I tried searching for more information about the issue, but I can't find anything related to it. Has something changed regarded the app passwords that I have missed?
Thanking for any help in advance.
Best Regards,
Nicklas

Hi, try clicking on Office Apps, and you should be able to see the old Security & Privacy option from here.
- Paweł LitwinCopper ContributorHello - same issue - InfoPath and Designer stoped working - i know that now it is Power Automate and other, but we still have old forms build on old programs.
Clicking on Office Apps shows old Security and Privacy but there is no option to get to the Old APP PASSWORDS 😞
