Don't think it matters, it really depends more on where you are in your adoption journey, the underlying technology and infrastructure is the same, at least going forward I believe so the experience should be much the same.

How Microsoft Teams uses Skype for Business
Personally, across several Office 365 tenants, I find that the quality of video and audio calls is better with Teams. This isn't altogether surprising as Teams uses the next generation audio/video platform, but the experience has been consistent for several months now. Glitches do happen with Teams, as with all software... so your mileage might vary.
