Unable to open file from Word - Browse dialog

If i want to open file from Word like: File---Open---Browse---type name of the file in "Search Document" dialog on the top right corner of the dialog box; and if i click on the file that is listed there, i get error:

"Word can't do this because a dialog box is open. Please close the dialog box to continue."

I have Windows 10 and Office 365.

Is this a bug in Word?
