Transfer Outlook 2010 files to 365 on same computer

I am currently running Outlook 2010 on a Windows desktop. I want to switch to Office 365 on the same computer. Will I be able to  access all my emails and calendars in Outlook 365 automatically, or is there something special I will have to do. If there is something special, what is it? Note that I prefer to store my emails on the desktop, not in the cloud.
