ShredderService?
Any one ever see this? What is this service?
More information. That prompt only appears from Word, no other application.
This is the same as what we are getting also. I assumed it was just something deployed internally as we do have a "Shredder" recycle bin for document destruction.
We've just been hitting the X to get rid of it when it pops up.
It's interesting to see others affected by this and I do hope microsoft clarifies what this is and how to deal with it.
See Alexander's reply above. I have performed most of the troubleshooting steps from the forum post, but customer still receives the prompt. I'm going to try one more thing and see if that clears it. If not, will be adding that customer to the escalation list.
