Sharing a sub site with external people.
Hi,
This might be an easy one to answer, but just for clarity..
If I want to share a subsite with an external person, e.g. bob@hiscompany.com
I can invite his email address.
What should Bob do now? Should be try and create a Microsoft account with his email, if possible?
Then log into my subsite with these credentials.
Or would it be better/required for me to ask Bob to firstly create a Microsoft account, e.g. bob@live.com and then invite bob@live.com rather than bob@hiscompany.com to my subsite?
Thank you for your time,
Ollie

I think you want to go with option 1--invite Bob with bob@hiscompany.com address and lead him to create a Microsoft account with that address. This is more friendly to Bob, as he doesn't have to create a new email address with Outlook to gain access to your environment.
- Both approaches should work...if you share the subsite with bob@hiscompany.com, he will be asking when trying to access the site to create a Microsoft account....if you ask Rob to create the Microsoft account, he won't be asked to created it when trying to access to the site...another alternative to these approaches is use Azure B2B
