SharePoint Online JSON for List
I was wondering if it is possible to configure a List column so that you are able to select the background colour? As opposed to conditionally formatting it based on values from other columns...
Do you mean in the color itself? I think it could be feasible but for sure you will need to develop it and first try to validate with a POC that is really feasible

Yes I was thinking once I create a column, that I would like to be able to select each cells colour specifically. However I did some research and it seems unlikely.
Anyway I found a JSON that automatically sets the colour based on the cell value which is good enough!
