Service Communications API - Planned Maintenance - not reliable ??
hi folks
i really don't understand the following case so i hope you can help.
there is this nice services communication API available, where 3 categories for get-Messages are available: Incident, Planned Maintenance and Message Center
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/office-365/office-365-service-communications-api-reference
In the Portal i see atm a planned maintenance for Yammer (scheduled for the 20th of November)
BUT this message is classified as "Message Center" AND NOT as "Planned Maintenance" ?
(unfortunately i see no other examples)
So why there is the planned maintenance category available IF IT IS NOT USED by Microsoft ?!?!
I want to pull only planned maintenance data via the API and want to exclude everything else.
any ideas ? any other experience about this API ? is it reliable ?
thank you

is no one using this communication api ?
Are there any other "reliable ways" how to see "planned maintenance" and to pull them via API ?
The documentation is old (August 2016) and things might have changed since. Many ISVs use the API in their products, so I guess it works. But like many APIs in common use within Office 365, things change... and documentation might not.
