Send as Office 365 Groups smtp address via Outlook web interface
When composing an new message from within a Office 365 group via the web interface, the send 'from' option doesn't show the groups smtp address option, just the users personal smtp address. The user has been granted the Groups permission to Send As. How do I enable the users to do so? What am I missing here?
Any help would be great.
Thanks in advance.
Eddy

In OWA you need to select the option to show the From field, click on your address, remove it and type the address you want to send as/send on behalf of. (thanks to Vasil Michev)

thanks!
- You can easily show the "From" field when composing a message in OWA within the Group...just in the options you have in the message editor, expand the options in the drop-down available at the bottom and you will see the Show from option there

Hi Eddy,
I have same problem. Cant send from Office 365 group address via web interface, even though I have send as and send on behalf permissions. I know the permissions are set correctly becuase I can do it via Outlook client. Limitation or are we missing something?
