Running performance reviews without leaving Microsoft 365?

I will strongly second NikolinoDE here. A while ago I asked a similar question regarding performance reviews and broader performance management in Teams in this forum and someone opened my eyes to all the Teams native apps and the broader third party app ecosystem.
Our company went with the "Option 2" suggested above and tried their share of performance management apps from the app store. We've been using the aforementioned Teamflect for some time now, and it works like a charm. I can definitely recommend it. We went into it for performance reviews but now all of our goals, meetings, and recognition goes through the app as well.
