Records Management Capability in O365
Hello Everyone,
I would really appreciate if you could help me understand which features currently exist, and which are underway (in development) needed to implement full Records Management capability in O365.
Thanks a lot!
Natalia
Depends on what you mean by "full" I guess, full in terms of workloads/items supported, full in terms of features, full in terms of meeting all (or some specific) regulations, etc. The documentation doesn't go into too much detail, but it should be able to answer the most common questions: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/securitycompliance/labels#using-retention-labels-for-records-management
For additional details and coming features, the sessions from Ignite are usually the best source. You can also check the Microsoft 365 Roadmap.
- ndashevskaCopper ContributorThanks for the info, guys! Will check out all the resources you've provided!
- Currently Records Management in Office 365 implementation is quite limited and reduced to Retention and File Plan features in the Compliance Center in Office 365: https://es.slideshare.net/recordpoint/understanding-records-management-in-office-365 y https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/securitycompliance/retention-policies
