Receiving mail from supplier cloud and relaying to customer
Hi (first time poster).
A supplier is sending email from their case management system and rather that the customer see their domain we want the mail to appear to originate from our domain or subdomain on O365. The solution must comply with GDPR (no spoofing) and must mitigate any risk from the supplier if they are compromised.
I have read a lot of documents which allude to bits of the solution yet don't fully understand the configuration steps required. This is surely a fairly common scenario yet can't find any best practice information.
Any help would be hugely appreciated.
- Hi Gary, The best way to accomplish your goal is to implement Option 1 from the following article. https://support.office.com/en-us/article/How-to-set-up-a-multifunction-device-or-application-to-send-email-using-Office-365-69f58e99-c550-4274-ad18-c805d654b4c4

Thank you for your quick reply, do you know if this approach would extend to the use of sub domains. The reason I ask is that it may be useful to have use the format mailbox@provider.company.co.uk where provider is the originating service provider.
Hi Gary,
Yes it is possible. Just validate de subdomains on Office 365 and assign the email address to the user of that subdomain to they use it.
