Questions on Office 365 E3 to Microsoft 365 E3 migration

Hi Experts,    Is there any guide/documentations that lists the steps to migrate from Office 365 E3 to Microsoft 365 E3 plan ?   Any pointers would be of great help.   Many thanks in advance.

    It’s basically just licensing! All the licenses you have today are in M365 so just switch the licenses and the user now get additional functionality

How do you mean migrate? You basically just get additions functionality

I would say switching plans.
