Questions about license use of Office 365 Personal for Mac
Hi, I am looking at Office 365 Personal for Mac, for my personal use. I have two questions about it:
1) I currently use a Parallels VM with a licensed copy of Windows 10 on my Mac, for a few apps that I use that don’t run on the Mac. Hence, I would like to run the Office 365 Personal apps on my Mac, and run Publisher in the Windows 10 VM. Is that possible on the Office 365 personal for Mac?
2) I notice the license includes use on 1 tablet (iPad) and 1 phone (iPhone). Is there an easy process for moving the license to another iPhone or iPad when I eventually upgrade them? How is that done?
Thanks.
For an extra $30/year you can always upgrade to Office 365 home as well and then have the license for both Mac and PC and still have 3 more licenses for other family members or for additional devices. and extra $2.50/month isn't bad for 4 additional licenses :)

- I think for question 1 the answer is the license can only exist on the PC *or* the Mac - not both.
For question 2 - you will be able to sign in on the new device and keep the license, but before doing so will need to rescind the license from the old device. You'll need to do that from the Office 365 portal where it shows the device activations.- DonAwaltCopper Contributor
Thank you, I was hoping the license was tied to physical machine or MAC address or something. That's too bad, it keeps me from being able to use 1 license.
