Feb 26, 2018Problem mit Sharepoint in Office 365
Good morning,
I need to change the title of a page in our Sharepoint Company Website.
Our website is saved on Office 365 server, and the option to change the title is unfortunately not available (see screenshot).
How can I activate this option? (sorry our Company is in Germany and our Sharepoint is in german language).
I have searched in the options, without a solution :(
If someone have a solution, it is ok in english too (I will translate in german).
Thanks a lot for your help.

Please post an image of the actual web page with the wording that you want to change. I would also recommend doing this in the SharePoint space in this community where it will be seen by many people with extensive sharepoint expertise

Hallo,
I have solve the Problem... It was really easy.
I have always used Google Chrome as Browser: WRONG!!!!
I have found that with Sharepoint I must ALWAYS use Internet Explorer.
With Internet Explorer, the Menu Options will work and I can choose the option "Webpage Option", where I found how to change the title of my page.
If you want I can post an image, but it is in german language....- Dean_GrossSilver Contributor
You should be able to do everything in Chrome that you can do in IE. MS has made this a big focus for Office 365 and SharePoint online, in fact, many people find that Chrome works better than IE or Edge, but there are definitely some inconsistencies between the rendering in each browser
