Problem creating a group in Outlook 365

I want to create a group from 40 or so emails to tell the senders about my new website.  I don’t want the email names and addresses to be visible AND I don’t want the list to be absorbed in my personal contact list.  Do you know if this is possible in Office/Outlook 365 and how to do it?  I have searched for a way to do these things but it seems not to be possible to create a contact/distribution list of contacts that is separate from my personal contacts list.

Grateful for any help with this.

  • You can create a separate contact folder and keep the contacts in there.
Then you can create a personal distribution list, and when sending the email to them put the list in the BCC field so they don't all see each other.
Both of these are Outlook functions - not specifically Office 365.

Thank you. Can you please tell me how to create a new contacts folder.  The Help Advice in Outlook is unclear.  I will then add  new contacts to that folder.

      Thanks

      Another thing you can do:
      (1) Create a Private Office 365 Group
      (2) Hide the Group from the GAL

Thanks.  I don't understand any of this.  What is a GAL?
