personal.xlsb file not loading when Excel starts up
Can you please try doing the following
1. Back-up your personal macro workbook (PMW)
2. Create the new workbook & make new PMW
3. copy the codes from your back-up PMW and paste into new one.
hope this should fix the issue

ExcelExciting I have at least 20 modules of code to copy from old personal.xlsb to the new file. Is there a quick way to do that?

- Boguslaw_ReszkaApr 30, 2024Copper ContributorHello,
unfortunately, I experience the same phenomenon: after start of excel (for 365 MSO), macros from PERSONAL.XLSB are invisible. They are visible after doubleclick on PERSONAL.XLSB.
However, when I try to use Edit button from Developer/Macros menu, it results with "Cannot edit macro on a hidden workbook. Unhide the workbook using the Unhide command."
My PERSONAL.XLSB hasn't hidden status.
I've overwritten PERSONAL.XLSB already, without the result - it doesn't start still.
Unfortunately Ron de Bruin has closed his blog and I didn't found any other solution in web.
Could you please share any tip for that?
Thanks
Boguslaw
