Outlook365 web-based Reminder functionality

HI, I have started to use Microsoft365 Outlook online (web-based interface) more and more, as, I plan to transition from my employer's slow laptop, to my MacBook. However, one feature I use a lot on the main installed Outlook application is the Reminders feature, that, could be a flagged item, but more often, is a calendar reminder. How do I "turn on" this feature on the web-based interface?

I totally understand the struggle of transitioning to a new system and finding the features you're used to. As for your question, I suggest checking out https://www.d365experts.co.uk/software/microsoft-business-central/. It's a cloud-based solution that integrates with Office 365, and it has a powerful reminder feature that you might find useful. With Business Central, you can set up reminders for tasks, events, and deadlines. These reminders can be sent to your email or displayed in the system itself, making it easy to keep track of everything you need to do. Plus, Business Central has other features that might help you streamline your work, like financial management tools and inventory tracking. I hope this helps you out!

  • Hi aarongunn3000,

Calendar reminders can be configured in OWA under Settings-Calendar-Events and invitations.

For Flagged emails you simply need to use the top filter and you'll get all those. Once you unflagg them, they'll disappear from that filter view:

Another option is to use Microsoft ToDo in order to centralize all the notifications, reminders and pending tasks, easily accesible from OWA. Find here more information about MS To Do: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/use-microsoft-to-do-for-tasks-and-reminders-in-outlook-on-the-web-dadc98aa-d854-4ecf-8433-e8dd5d55df6c

And here more information about OWA calendar notifications: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/calendar-notifications-in-outlook-web-app-763907f8-65be-4138-beeb-fc770adf5c6d

    Hope this helps 🙂

Yes - The method in-which I had left reminders in for myself using calendar appointments is probably not reliable if I convert to OWA.

      Thanks for your help.
