Outlook (New) redicts to Microsoft Edge to access emails
After the recent 365 apps, a few users in our organization are experiencing an issue with accessing emails on the Microsoft Outlook (New).
When we click on the Outook(New) icon and it opens and redirects to Edge window to access emails.
I tried several troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue and submitted a case with Microsoft Support but not helpful so far.
Anyone else experiencing the same problem ?
Any suggestions or fix will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Take this:
1. Revert to Classic Outlook
- Open Outlook
- Go to Help > Revert to Legacy Outlook
- This switches you back to the full desktop version
2. Clear App Cache
- Delete these folders:
- %localappdata%\Microsoft\OLK
- %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneAuth
- Restart your PC and relaunch Outlook
3. Repair Office Installation
- Go to Control Panel > Programs > Microsoft 365 > Change
- Choose Quick Repair or Online Repair
4. Check Shortcut Target
- Right-click the Outlook (New) icon > Properties
- Ensure it points to the desktop app (outlook.exe) and not a web link
5. Set Default Mail App
- Go to Settings > Apps > Default Apps
- Make sure Outlook (desktop) is set as the default for mail
