Outlook keeps replacing new server settings with old ones

Hi, Why is it always such a hassle if an outlook account setting needs to be changed?   I want to change the outgoing- and incoming mail server addresses from, let's say, mail.domain01.com to mail...

I think I figured it out.

I created the following key:

 

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\​SOFTWARE\​Microsoft\​Office\​16.0\​Outlook\​setup
DWORD: DisableOffice365SimplifiedAccountCreation
Value: 1

 This brings back the normal email account settings form and changes made in this form seem to stick!

I'm having this issue too - since Friday, all 7 of my email accounts keep changing  from what I input to incorrect server information but, despite 4 hours of pro support with dell, it's not fixed yet.  robertdh can you assist me in applying this key/I have no idea what to do with it.
