oops there is a problem

Outlook keeps telling me There is a problem with my Microsoft account'. To fix this, sign in to account.live.com from a browser.' I do not wish to have Outlook.com running in my browser I am happy with it running in my standalone Microsoft 365 program, I login to Onedrive OK but that seems not to make a difference. I am not very advanced with the software
