OneDrive on Linux
Starting with Ubuntu 24.04, OneDrive and other cloud services are supported out of the box. Just go to settings > accounts. Enable the Microsoft 365 account, sign in and boom, done!!
Just go to files and you will see a shiny network connection to your OneDrive.

This error is because you are using Ubuntu. The default Ubuntu packages for GVFS contain a number of bugs, which are fixed, but due to Ubuntu's packaging policies - you are left with broken packages until Ubuntu uses those newer upstream versions.
Your best options to resolve are:- Use a more modern / up-to-date distribution (something not based on Ubuntu). If you wish to stay in the 'apt' ecosystem, Debian or Linux Mint Debian Edition are much better choices than Ubuntu
- Use the dedicated Microsoft OneDrive Client for Linux (https://github.com/abraunegg/onedrive)
- Use 'rclone' (https://rclone.org/)
- Use a paid client such as 'insync', 'ExpanDrive'
If you go down the 'onedrive' or 'rclone' route, you also will be hit with broken Ubuntu packages if you use the Ubuntu Universe packages, so install the tool in the correct manner and not from Ubuntu Universe.
If that is too difficult, switch to a better distribution is the path of least resistance.

Wow that's cool. I logged in and saw the new connection. Here are two questions:
- Is this online only? Can I cache some of the files offline, just like the windows version?
- How to access it on terminal? I tried onedrive://xxx/OneDrive shown in the address bar but it did not work.
Thx for your efforts!

Hi, how did you do to get your Account & Tenant ID ? Is it possible with a family account ?

You don't need the client ID and Tenant ID, ignore it and just click the Sign In button and you can sign in normally.

Unless you've an entrant at s https://partner.microsoft.com/en-us/dashboard/account/v3/tenantmanagement#developer, which is improbable, I believe you've no tenant ID. I don't believe that Microsoft exposes a distinct user ID, except for what https://superuser.com/revisions/1911137/1 describes.
