One Drive 4 Business with Outlook 2013 in an Office 365 Hybrid with Exchange 2016.
I'm looking for some documentation and scenario where an on-prem user should be able to do the smart attahment using Outlook. I'd like to know the details also how does the SSO/ADFS works in the back...

Yes that is my unbderstanding that as long as ADFS is in place it should work. So what you are saying ADFS architecture something I'd be looking at?

Hi Adnan,
No I don't think you should be making your authentication decision based on this, there should be a completely different discussion around the whole O365 suite to decide whether you want to implement ADFS/Password Sync. Whichever identity model you choose this will work in the same way.

We are already going to have ADFS in place for hybrid with Sharepoint. The decicion was made to test the ODfB Desktop client. I'd assume ODfB Addon ins outlook will work the same as dekstop client in terms of authritication.
That little piece smart attachment was missing , so i asked if that can be done sincxe we will have Exchange 2016 in co-existance.
