Once Drive Special Character Sync

No, I don't think so, their invalid file names, so you would have to rename the files first. Here is the official list with more info - https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Invalid-file-names-and-file-types-in-OneDrive-OneDrive-for-Business-and-SharePoint-64883a5d-228e-48f5-b3d2-eb39e07630fat.
It depends on the special characters you are talking about...Microsoft added recently support to # and %...can you clarify this?

do i have to enable some setting to allow these characters ?Are you using the OneDrive client, the OneDrive for Business client or the website to upload?
I'm using one drive for business client.
