Office apps simply disappeared??

I have the same problem in 2025 and after using M365 3 years or so, I truly don't know how anyone BUT Microsoft likes it. The entire MO of both MS and Google trying desperately to have more and more interconnected in their platform is massively annoying and serves no valuable purpose for me. I would gladly go back about 15 years to the days when we controlled the software we purchased rather than the software controlling us.
