Office 365 Personal subscription about to expire

My 365 Personal subscription is about to expire, but I can't renew it as I subscribed to the service when I was living abroad. Based on everything I've read it seems that the only solution is to let it expire and then subscribe again. My question is, if I let my subscription expire, will I lose my data? I have 100s of GB worth of files stored in my OneDrive and I really don't want to lose them.
