Have you checked if the mailbox configure on your phone correctly? I have met a similar issue, the root cause is that the user copied all the phone data from old iPhone to new iPhone and she solved this issue by reconfigure the mailbox in her cell phone. what she received in her outlook for mac is synced from her iPhone.
ChickaYa I'm using Office 365 on windows not mobile.
