Office 365 migration for single OU when rest of domain has moved to a different O365 tenant.
I have a sub OU for a company that is separating from the parent company. The parent company has already migrated to Office 365 and all domain users are part of the dirsync job. As such, I can't run the hybrid wizard against the exchange server. I've only got about 150 users to migrate.
Do I have any options beyond creating these users as cloud only and migrating from PST?
Thanks!

You can still do a cutover migration, this will migrate your 150 users and all their data. It works well and syncs their data every 24 hours until you're ready to change the MX records.
Most of the 3rd party tools that offer EWS-based migration should work in your scenario. If the other company is using just dirsync (no Hybrid), you should be able to set up another dirsync instance, sync the OU to the new tenant and even go Hybrid with it over the weekend (150 mailboxes aint that much after all), then break things off and back to normal. That's of course just some generic speculation, without having a proper idea of the actual setup :)
