Office 365 Adoption Content Pack for Power BI coming soon
Thank you Tony.
Do you know the Release Date of it ?
You mentioned "...Also in the works is an API to allow tenants and ISVs access to the aggregated data used by the content pack. This API is in preview and enables tenants to develop their own dashboards"
Do you have any further information about this ?
Three other Questions:
1) Is the Dashboard refreshed every day or is the time period until the customer sees a new "static" picture longer ?
2) does every user sees the same Dashboard data in Power BI or is it dependent on the user role ?
e.g. a global admin sees everything whereas a department head sees only the data related to his department ?
3) Can the Usernames in the Dashboard Widgets be "anonymized" ?

TR: Soon. That is in Microsoft's hands and I don't work for Microsoft.

TR: Information has been released in Beta to some ISVs. I can't release it here. Ask Microsoft.
Three other Questions:
1) Is the Dashboard refreshed every day or is the time period until the customer sees a new "static" picture longer ?
TR: Once a month. This is a static dashboard (well, until the monthly refresh). This is unsurprising given the amount of data that has to be aggregrated and normalized for what is a free service.
2) does every user sees the same Dashboard data in Power BI or is it dependent on the user role ?
e.g. a global admin sees everything whereas a department head sees only the data related to his department ?
TR: Microsoft is working on a reporting role that will allow non-admins to see the dashboard, but that's about it. If you want to provide information to department heads, you will have to extract that data and give it to them (customize via Power BI).
3) Can the Usernames in the Dashboard Widgets be "anonymized" ?
Unknown at this point. Maybe Anne Michels can say. And she will correct any errors in what I said above.

Thanks, Tony. Happy to provide more information:
- release date: we're currently targeting end of April to release the content pack to all customers
- refresh: We’re planning to refresh the content pack at the beginning of each month. Data is available on a per month basis. Thus, for example data for March will be available only at the beginning of April between 2nd-5th
- APIs: we'll share more details soon
- Can the Usernames in the Dashboard Widgets be "anonymized"?: we have a privacy feature in the admin center that allows you to anonymize the usage reports. This setting will be carried through to the content pack.
Thanks,
Anne

Hello Anne,
I was checking the Office 365 Adoption Content Pack data model and I didn't find the username in the tables. (https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Office-365-adoption-content-pack-data-model-08c5307c-4a6b-4761-8410-a6c96725760f?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US)
Can you provide me insights on that? Even though, the username is available in Admin Center usage reports.
Thank you

Hi Bruno,
we call it display name in the content pack and you can find it in the User State table:

Thank you Anne!
So the content pack will be available for every customer (doesn't matter which subscription the customer has, right?)
thanks again

Hi Stefan,
any customers who has access to the admin center and who sees the new usage reports will be able to instantiate the content pack.
Thanks,
Anne
