Office 365 - Message Encryption - and sign using S/MIME
Hi
A yes or no question.
We got this Encrypt button in Oulook now. So a enduser can click Encrypt (When OME is configured of cause).
But cís it possible for the end user to sign the mail using S/MIME too?
So its encrypted using OME end signed using S/MIME?

Hey Michael Jensen,
Yes.
Assuming you setup OME on your tenant correctly, OME will encrypt the actual message itself, and follow the path discussed here - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/securitycompliance/ome. Think of this as the more advanced of the two encryption.
The S/MIME signing is just an outlook feature, so even when OME is added it does not go away.
