O365 Data Migration Fatal Error
Hi, this is my first conversation as part of the Office 365 community so i apologise in advance if the following question is a dumb one.
i'm currently trying to migrate mailboxes for our staff from a cloud based IMAP service to O365. i'm using Powershell to drive the migration but there are some migrations that are failing with the following Error:-
Fatal error UidOutOfRangePermanentException has occurred.
could someone please help me in understanding this error and its causes?

I get
1/3/2018 1:39:24 PM [VI1P189MB0334] Copy progress: 1677838/115113 messages, 155.5 GB (167,000,548,518 bytes)/10.98 GB (11,787,571,200 bytes), 0/0 folders completed.
1/3/2018 1:39:48 PM [VI1P189MB0334] Fatal error UidOutOfRangePermanentException has occurred.
I dont recall ever seeing that error. Try the steps in the guided troubleshooter here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/10062/troubleshooting-issues-with-imap-mailbox-migration
If that doesnt help, open a support case.
