Multitenant Collaboration - Preview - MFA and other settings

Hello everyone, and greetings from Portugal!

So, I've enabled multitenant collaboration for some companies, and I'm getting a little bit "confused" about what should I do in some of the information I get.

For example, now on Entra ID - Authentication Methods activity, I'm getting negative results, for example for the "users capable of Azure multifactor authentication", because I have a total of 500 users, where only 33 are from that tenant. So the other synced users have MFA enabled on their "original tenant".

What should I do in the cases?

Best regards,

Diogo Sousa

Hello Diogo Sousa. It seems like your message got cut off after mentioning "Entra ID - Authentication Meth." It appears that you're dealing with multitenant collaboration and authentication methods, possibly within a specific platform or service. If you could provide more details or clarify your question, I'd be happy to assist you. Specifically, if you have questions about configuring authentication methods, handling multi-tenant setups, or anything related to identity and access management, feel free to provide more context, and I'll do my best to help.

Hello and sorry for the late reply.
Let's see if this passes now:

If you want to accept MFA from other tenants, you can configure this in Microsoft Entra Admin Center > External Identities > Cross-tenant access settings. You can adjust the default settings here. But it is recommended to create a separate one for each collaboration and enable MFA from other tenants in the trust settings.

This one I've already done when setting up Multitenant Collaboration. But in the authentication methods reports it seems to have no effect.
