Mixing office apps and Exchange between users - Office 365 Business Premium

Hi   In Office 365 Business Premium can we choose which users use either office or exchange, or both? Does that effect cost per user?   Thanks   Regards

Would the two bundles run under the same company domain? As both sets of users would need emails from same domain.

Yes you can mix and match office subscriptions within the same organization (Tenant).

 

For example you may want some to use to just have the latest version of Office but not have access to Exchange online - So the cheapest option would be to just buy Office 365 Business.

For users who just require the online services but don't need the latest Office products (perhaps you already have Office 2013) you could buy Office 365 Business Essentials and for those users who require everything, you would buy Office 365 Business Premium. 

 

This is cheaper than buying everyone Business Premium and then de-activating services.
