Missing Audit Records for Retention Labels Applied to SharePoint Online Documents
If you depend on the Office 365 audit log or the Activity Explorer in the Data Classification section of the Compliance Center to track the usage of retention labels for SharePoint Online, the data you see is missing a big chunk of activity. Of course, you might not care - but Microsoft should.

Great read. Does this only apply to retention labels or does this same issue exist for sensitivity labels?
Teresa_Loria I think everything is OK with sensitivity labels and will discuss the topic of analyzing the audit log for sensitivity label data on office365itpros.com later this week.
