Microsoft Lists - SharePoint Employee onboarding checklist

Hello, 

I'm using the SharePoint template for Employee Onboarding which includes an MS List. My issue is how do I allow this to be used by multiple new employees? When I complete it on either SharePoint or MS Teams the values remain therefore can't be completed by a unique user.
