Microsoft 365 Family Subscription

Hi,

I have an issue with my Microsoft 365 family subscription.

In the past, through my employer I got a family subscription via them. As I'm no longer are working for the company, the subscription is no longer valid.

We purchased a family 365 subscription via my wife and she has invited me to join the family group to my yahoo account.

However, I used this yahoo email address as a backup email to my previous employer. So when I click on the invitation link, Microsoft informs me that my account is already part of a family group. When I then log on and try to leave this family group, I get an error message that I cannot.

My sons email is also part of this family group and I cannot remove his account from the group either.

I'd like to keep my yahoo account and not logon via another email account to join our current family subscription.

Any suggestions from anyone?
