Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Edge

We have a user that has Windows 7 Pro with Microsoft 365. When opening Outlook, it

says that Microsoft Edge is not installed. When did Outlook require Edge to

be installed? We tried installing Edge but it couldn’t unpack it.
Is there a work around for this?
