Mass Delete Notifications for SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business
Microsoft says that they will soon send email to users when Office 365 detects a higher than normal number of file deletions in SharePoint Online sites and OneDrive for Business accounts. There’s no real detail provided as to what counts as a high volume or why Microsoft is sending the notifications.

Thanks Tony ! I did see this message in the O365 Admin message center on our tenant.
There are cases where Security & Compliance Center Retention/Deletion policies could perform mass delete operation on a weekly basis, in this case, will this feature notify ODB/SharePoint users ? (I would expect not to..)
What are thoughts ?
There could be other use cases as well. I would be great if this could be documented by MS.
