Manage dining room shifts booking

Hi.

 

For Covid causes we need to control how many people are going to eat in our dinning room, we want to configure as a resource in Office365 with a 10 people limitation at the same time. The main idea is open a room for 30 minutes with a limit of assistants, they must be able to auto add to this booking until the room it's full. With 3 deferents turns we have to be able to control the number of assistants.

 

We can't find the option that allows to auto join in a booking

 

Is it possible to do this with office365?

    There's no way to enforce capacity currently, unless you do it manually by approving each request and tracking the number of people. Microsoft is working on providing such functionality via the new "Places" API, but afaik it is still not being enforced for room mailboxes and such.
