M365 group-disable permissions for group Members to add other members

Were you actually able to add a member as another member?
- Yes, I am currently a member in this group and I was able to add another member.
- Hm, seems I'm able to reproduce this via OWA, Outlook and Teams work as expected though. I've pinged few folks on this, but best open a support case and report it.
Out of curiosity, does the account you're using have any admin permissions?
