Yes, agree, according to Microsoft’s Shared Responsibility Model, Microsoft and the Microsoft 365 user share responsibility for securing the data on the platform. However, the user has sole responsibility for ensuring that this data is properly backed up with a third-party solution and can be recovered when needed.
