Lost Track Changes using Word On-line

Hi,

after having successfully used track changes and comments on a O365 shared word file, using Word on-line and off-line, suddenly they disappeared (either on-line or off-line). Versions are still there. No on eapproved track changes. Any hint/suggestion? Is it a known issue?

    What happens if you check a prior version and check the changes(track changes) 

    I would look at this because maybe someone accidently removed the track changes..

      Thanks Paul for your answer. We did it as first check and track changes have disappeared on all the versions! Quite weird. So I am sharing here to see if someone already encountered the same problem.

        This is happening to my organization as well. It started sometime around Tuesday 4/5 I think. Any new Word document created online will not have the track changes tool. I have found older documents where the track changes tools are working.  I opened a ticket with MS support. Ticket #7789674 We have a magazine in house so this is a big problem for us.
