Inventory of O365 Applications

Does anyone know where I can find a list of all O365 applications that could appear within the waffle menu?   I've been unable to find a holistic list.

Another unofficial option is this handy infographic https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Office-365/New-infographic-Periodic-Table-of-Office-365/td-p/68275 from Deleted

Also, be prepared for unexpected apps to show up. This can happen when users register for non-O365 web site/applications using their O365 credentials. I currently have Fast Track Portal, Partner Portal and 10 other "apps" listed in the All Apps section of the O365 App Launcher

I don't think there is an official one, also it depends on what customers have bought (E3/E5 etc.) and any add-ons they may have, as well as any custom apps that may have been added.

The Office 365 Service descriptions gives a rundown of what comes with Office 365, though it may not be exactly what you are after.  Resources like this might be helpful as well - Periodic Table of Office 365.

  • You can also create custom applications so there isn't a complete list.

Do you mean a full list of our of the box applications?

Yes, looking for a full list with the understanding that some can be hidden.

        Good luck :)

MS can't even decide what an app is, much less provide any type of comprehensive listing. From an App Launcher perspective, People is an App, but if you open Outlook as a client, People is just part of the application.

The Office 365 Roadmap has a list of applications that can be used for filtering, but it is incomplete.

The Office 365 Service Descriptions mentioned above, provide a listing of services, but are those really apps? who knows.

The execs at MS need to hire an Information Architect to create a taxonomy that is contains a standard set of terms for Marketing, Apps, Services, Platforms, etc.

        rant over ;/
