Intune App policy applied by manuel download of office or teams?

Devices managed via Intune (company devices) automatically get Office 365. But for some users, it takes up to several days for Office 365 or teams to be automatically installed. And so some users install teams (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/microsoft-teams/download-app) or office manuel.

My question: Is Office or Teams managed by Intune even if users download and install them manually?

I searched, but can´t fint any docs for this question/ topic.
