Integrating 365 with standalone Outlook 2016

Hi all. Sorry to ask what some may think is a dumb question, but I am proposing to subscribe to Microsoft 365, but it is essential that it carries across all my email folders and contacts from a standalone Outlook 2016 installation I presently use. Will it do so? Many thanks.
