A few years ago I was "writing" a book with anything that came into my head, and since I was still learning to use some of the different functions of word, I decided to protect the document, and now I want to see what I was writing, but I forgot my password.
I need help to break the password or tell me another way to access the document, but I think is very unlikely to exist.
Best regards

I've had luck with Passware before, but depending on the type of protection used, it may have to resort to a Brute Force attack.

That's a shame, unfortunately, there isn't an official way around this, if there was it would make password protection rather moot:
You cannot recover a document that is protected with a password if the password is lost in Word
Also, just to mention passwords are case sensitive, so whether you have tried different combinations taking that into account. Password protection in Office 2007 onwards is considered secure.
Like Pieter Veenstra has said there are utilities out there that may assist with password recovery.
There are applications around that can unlock passwords. Please use google or Bing and search for "unlock password protected word document". I wouldn't want to personally recommend any of these products as I haven't needed to use them myself.
